Meet Zoe

Zoe is an experienced Australian equestrian and the trainer behind Sydney Horsemanship, with a competition history spanning more than a decade.
Zoe's experience extends across eventing, dressage, showjumping and cross-country, with documented competition appearances throughout NSW at venues and events including the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Sydney International Three Day Event, Equestriad, Quirindi, Denman and Berrima.
Over the years, Zoe has competed a diverse range of horses, including Pacific Park Crusader, Lachlan River, Deltry Monet, Wall Street, Dulwich Falcon and Von Dutch.
Her competition record includes a second-place finish aboard Wall Street in the EvA65-A division at the 2023 Sydney International Three Day Event.
Zoe has continued producing horses from halter breaking right through the eventing levels, including Dulwich Falcon, progressing from EvA65 competition into EvA80 and EvA95 competition. Zoe has worked with many client horses as well as unhandled/uneducated and poorly educated horses and has successfully produced them into sellable competition horses.
Through Sydney Horsemanship, Zoe incorporates in hand horsemanship foundations into all English disciplines under saddle, leading to excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of horses. Zoe brings her in-hand methods, under saddle training and competition experience into her work with horses and riders, with an emphasis on problem solving and developing confident, capable partnerships between horse and rider.

Zoe has an extensive international experience in grooming for 5* Showjump Riders in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain.
This role included riding, schooling and preparing horses as well as freelance work breaking in horses in the Netherlands.
